Thankful... Day 3

Today I am feeling spoiled.
Who is taking care of me today?
My husband?
No this time it is my daughter,
Rachel

My adorable girl has always been a caretaker.

Last night she came in my bedroom and said she thought I was stressed and that I needed a break and that she was going to cook dinner tonight.
She already cooks 3 or 4 nights a week.

She especially loves to bake...
just look how excited she got over a cake leveler.

She is a sweet girl...

and silly sometimes, too.

Here she is digging the garden.

She is always ready to pitch in, especially in a crisis.
She helped do our laundry at the laundromat when we they broke.

She went to the hospital with me last week when her Dad was in the E.R.

Besides baking, and cooking, she likes sewing.

She is always cleaning up after us. Especially before she teaches her sewing class.

Here's Jessica, Rachel, and my mom working on applesauce.

Thanks for the break from cooking dinner tonight.

Now to spend the rest of my day wisely.
I am so thankful for my oldest, wonderful daughter Rachel...
Everyday!
But especially on days when she is cooking dinner for me.

I also LOVE Rachel to bits and I cannot wait to meet her (and your family) in person some day.
Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog.
Love in Jesus.

What a sweet girl! She looks like she has been brought up right and is a huge blessing to her parents. Priceless. God bless!
