Goal Planning Monday ~ Week 41

Time to write some goals and strive to accomplish them this coming week??

Join us by clicking on the button above...
after you read my goals.

This was a better week than last week. I got more accomplished, though not as much as I wanted to.

My Goals from last week and how I did:
Spiritual Goals
  1. Catch up in my Reading the Bible in a Year. Partly Done
  2. Read Power of a Praying Wife and leave hubby a note for each chapter I read. He needs the extra prayers and encouragement. Homeschool Goals. Not Done http://zaazu.com
  3. Read Chapter 4 of God's Priorities for Today's Woman for Ladies Bible Study on Friday. I don't want to wait 'til the last minute for this. I need to read it tomorrow. Done Ladies Bible study on Friday went really well. I had my chapter done and we had a good discussion. I may be leading the next LBS because our leader need surgery. She does not have a date yet for her
Homeschool Goals
  1. Keep homeschooling and make sure the boys do all 12 workboxes every day or no computer time. Done
  2. Read aloud to the boys... this counts toward my 100 books in a year goal. Done
  3. Work on my History plans for later in the year. Done I worked on it so I am counting it as done... I am not finished, however, but I won't be for a long time having to do it little by little with homeschooling and the other things I have to do with my day.
  4. Compile the hours that the boys have done for each subject of school so far this year so they know how much they have accomplished and how much more they need to do.... especially important for Nathan because he is graduating this year. Done I worked on it so I am counting it as done... I am not finished, however, but I hope to make this priority 1 this week. I need to get this done so we can talk about hours for Nathan and have a plan for the last 100 days of his homeschooling... forever. http://zaazu.com

Blog Goals
  1. I have my Blast From The Past ready for tomorrow and I like knowing that I worked on it more than a week ago and it is all ready to post tomorrow. I want to work on all the Blast From The Past posts for Nov. and have them all ready to go way ahead so it is a pleasure to do them and not so much of a chore. Not Done http://zaazu.com
  2. Work on, and get posted, a post that is not a meme. Not Done
  3. Post at least 3 more times this week. Done
  4. Post daily for the 30 Days of Thanksgiving / Gratitude Challenge. Done
Personal/Other Goals
  1. Comment on all the other GPM ladies posts. Keep track of their names with links here so I know whose I have done. Done I commented at:
Our Hostess, Katrina @ Mama Manuscripts
Cristi  @ Through the Calm and Through the Storm
    Lisa @ Homeschool Circus
    Michele @ The Holistic Homeschooler

  2. Read, Read, Read! I am making progress on my read 100 books in a year goal but I still need to read a bunch more. I am currently reading Love's Unending Legacy (Love Comes Softly Series #5). I don't think I will make 100 books, since tomorrow starts Nov., but I will not quit. I will read as much as I can. Done I not only finished book 5 Love's Unending Legacy but I finished book 6 Love
  3. Finish straightening my bedroom. Not Done
  4. One on One time with Rachel. Not Done
  5. Saturday we have the Fall Festival at our church. It was supposed to be last Saturday but was canceled due to rain, freezing rain, snow, and sleet. It was a mess here on Sat. If they had not cancelled it we would have missed it. We decided not to go because of my husband's incident... then it was postponed to this coming Sat. So dd Rachel will be baking for the bake-off and some of the family will be volunteering.  Done Rachel won one of the categories for the bake off and would have won in 2 categories except they decided not to give 2 prizes to one person so they gave the other prize to 2nd place. I helped all night with the games because other volunteers did not show up and so I missed seeing the judging or taking pictures of anything, even of Rachel getting her prize. Luckily my hubby brought me dinner and got me a piece of the Rachel's winning cake to take home. I ate the cake Sunday night while watching Rear Window for our Movies as Literature study.
For this week that is 10 Done, 1 Partly Done, and 5 Not Done.
