Human Body Unit - Games

The Circulation Game

We love playing games, and if you make the game first that is great. We had a great time coloring all the parts to this game. If you get the game as a FREE download on the internet that is even better. If the game also teaches your kids about a subject you are studying that is the best. I love finding things like this that are such an addition to our homeschooling.

You spin the spinner and move around the circulatory system. There are no questions to answer. The point of the game is to see to how the blood flows through the system. Using red blood cells to carry oxygen and carbon dioxide to and from the lungs,

through and over the heart. We love the 3D effect.

You also have protein and Sugar squares that have to travel to the cells in the outer parts of the body from the small intestines and then you pick up wastes in the outer cells and take them to the kidneys. It is such fun.

The spinner for the game is in the shape of a human heart. That is soooo cool.
If you download this game I have a suggestion. To make the spinner work I put a washer between the spinner and the heart to make it spin well.
If you need to see the picture up closer to see the washer just click on the picture.

We also loved playing
The Brain Game

You answer questions for this game and try to collect pieces of your brain. Each question is about a specific piece of the brain, and in order to get that piece you have to answer the question correctly. If you don't get the question right you don't get that piece.

There are also cards that make you put pieces back in the pile.

The questions are challenging, they really make you use your brain!! LOL

Well here are the links so you too can download the games, make it and play it with your family.
