Goal Planning Monday ~ Week 33

It's Monday again!!
Time to write some goals and strive to accomplish them this coming week??

Join us by clicking on the button above...
after you read my goals.

I am pleased to say I accomplished a lot more of my goals from last week than I have in the past few weeks. Hooray! My mom's visit went pretty well, she got to see some of the tennis she wanted to watch. We got school accomplished, we didn't get to take her to Longwood Gardens because it was either raining or her tennis was on.

Well now on to the goals...

My Goals from last week and how I did:

Spiritual Goals
  1.  Catch up with Reading the Bible in a Year... I am behind by more than a week. Done I am more caught up than I was last week. I read a bunch. I am not all caught up, though I hope to be all caught up by next Monday.
  2. Read Power of a Praying Wife and leave hubby a note for each chapter I read. He needs the extra prayers and encouragement. Done
Homeschool Goals
  1. Keep homeschooling and do better even with my mom here, we have been struggling. Done We had a pretty good week. This week should be even better since we can get back onto a regular sleep schedule now that my mom is going home. She is a night owl and no one can get to sleep until she does.
  2. Work on Portfolios. Done I did get time to work on this. I still have more to do.
  3. If I have time I also want to work on planning History. We are done with Mystery of History 3 and I need to keep ahead on the planning. Not Done, but I didn't expect to get it done.
Health and Fitness Goals
  1. Get back to exercising, 3 times this week hopefully. Back to it today. Partly Done I exercised 2 days, I think. This week should be even better.
  2. Drink water 3-4 of my white and pink 16oz. cups full. Done
  3. Get back to eating more healthy. Partly Done Most days I ate more healthy. Sunday I got to go to the picnic because my daughter was sick and stayed home and the boys decided not to go to the picnic as well, so I ate some goodies there.

Blog Goals
  1. Get my Blast From The Past post done and scheduled so it posts first thing tomorrow morning. Come back and see my family photos and link up. Done
  2. I need to do my monthly update on how I am doing with my yearly goals. I missed doing this Sept. 1st. Not Done
  3. Post reviews due for TOS. Done
TOS Homeschool Crew Goals (I am not on the crew any more but have to finish up my responsibilities... 4 review)
  1. Play Flea Circus with my family again. Try and get my hubby and daughter Jessica to join us. The review is Due by Wed. noon. Done
  2. Play Civilize This... our other review item... also a game... it looks fun. The review is due by Friday. Done
  3. Keep doing  Rooted and Grounded for Bible. Review due later this month. This is my very last product review for TOS. Done
Personal/Other Goals
  1. Keep up with the Fearlessly Feminine Challenge 2011, wearing dresses/skirts every day this week and posting photos of myself.  Done I finished. I did not really enjoy it most days and wished I had not said I was going to participate but once I start something I like to finish it. I was so glad to put my jeans on for the picnic on Sunday!!
  2. Comment on the other Fearlessly Feminine Challenge 2011 ladies blog posts all week. Done
  3. Comment on all the other GPM ladies posts. Keep track of their names with links here so I know whose I have done. Not Done I meant to go do this but forgot. Oops! I will try and get it done this coming week. I like keeping up with what the other ladies are planning and accomplishing.
  4. Time with my mom. We will especially be spending time together on Sunday since I will be staying home with her while my family goes to church and then to our yearly Church picnic. Mom hasn't been to church for almost a year and she couldn't make the picnic because she would not be comfortable and the bathrooms are up the hill and they are port-a-potties. She will be watching tennis most of the day though so I should get a lot done. Done I did not spend as much time with her as I would have liked but we did watch some movies and play a few games. The boys took forever to do school and then she was watching tennis all day a few days last week. Also I went to the picnic instead of some of my kids so that time was not spent with her. I hope she had an ok time. It is a stress on our family because she does not have her own room and tv, but we manage with what we have.
  5. Read, Read, Read! I am up to 32 books out of the 100 I wanted to read this year. I am making progress but I still need to get reading. I am currently reading Recipes & Wooden Spoons (Tales from Grace Chapel Inn, Book 2) Recipes and Wooden Spoons (Tales from Grace Chapel Inn, Book 2)  need to also finish reading Emma. I have a bunch of Grace Chapel Inn books checked out of the library as well as the next Daughters of Fortune book by Judith Pella. I need to get them read before they are due back at the library. Done I finished Recipes and Wooden Spoons and started Portraits of the Past, the next book in the series.
  6. One on One time with Christopher. Plan to do that today if he can get his schoolwork finished soon enough. Not Done If he doesn't make the time to spend with me I will be moving on to doing a day with Nathan next week.
Well that is this week's Goals. I did better last week than the week before but I am still not making as much progress as I was. This week should be even better than last week. Now to post this and get on with accomplishing my goals.

Well that is 4 Not Done , 14 Done , and 2 Partly Done . Way better than last week. http://zaazu.com
