Wednesday Hodgepodge ~ Vol 23

1. What are your plans for Easter Day/weekend? My friend Becky, a missionary in Mexico who is home on fulough is visiting Friday afternoon through Sunday. Friday night we plan to go to our church's Good Friday service, I don't know what we will do on Sat.; Sunday is church, where we will have a Easter brunch between our morning church services, we go to second service, then lunch and we have not decided what we are having yet. Becky changed her plans, she was going to leave on Sat. evening now she is staying so we have to talk about what we are doing for Sunday lunch.

2. Besides Jesus, what one person from The Bible would you most like to meet and why? Deborah, since I am named after her.

3. What is one modern day convenience you didn't have as a child that was easy to live without? Cell phones... and I still live without one... though on occasion I have wished we had one most days I am fine without. We have a home phone, e-mail, Facebook accounts and blogs. That is plenty of ways to get/be in touch with people.

4. Are you more right brained or left brained? If you don't know what that means there is an interesting little quiz here. I took the quiz...

Left Brain Right Brain
56% 44%

You are more left-brained than right-brained. Your left brain controls the right side of your body. In addition to being known as left-brained, you are also known as a critical thinker who uses logic and sense to collect information. You are able to retain this information through the use of numbers, words, and symbols. You usually only see parts of the "whole" picture, but this is what guides you step-by-step in a logical manner to your conclusion. Concise words, numerical and written formulas and technological systems are often forms of expression for you. Some occupations usually held by a left-brained person include a lab scientist, banker, judge, lawyer, mathematician, librarian, and skating judge.

Your complete evaluation follows below:
Your left brain/right brain percentage was calculated by combining the individual scores of each half's sub-categories. They are as follows:
Your Left Brain Percentages
53% Sequential (My most dominant characteristic)
  42% Symbolic
  40% Reality-based
  32% Linear
  20% Verbal
13% Logical (My least dominant characteristic)

Your Right Brain Percentages
42% Holistic (My most dominant characteristic)
  39% Random
  25% Nonverbal
  24% Fantasy-oriented
  20% Intuitive
0% Concrete (My least dominant characteristic)

Very interesting. I saved my test results so I could read them in detail. I definitely thought I would come out left brained but I am surprised at the percentages. Sequential makes sense... that is why I so adore to-do lists and checking things off.

5. What is something you intended to do today but didn't? Why? Devotions. Checked my blog this morning, then been doing school and blogging. I am going to go exercise and then go to my room and read my Bible...after I get this posted that is.

6. Cadbury Creme Eggs or Reeses peanut butter? If you said Cadbury Caramel Eggs that would have won but of these choice it is Reeses Peanut Butter for sure... I hate the Cadbury Cream Eggs.

7. Who was your favorite cartoon character when you were a child? Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Wilma Flintstone, Mrs. Jetson, Scooby Doo; to many favorites to pick just one. I loved watching Sat. morning cartoons with my daddy. Boy, I miss him.

8. Insert your own random thought here. Only 12 more days of school for this year. I am sooooo ready for summer break!

Cadbury eggs look too much like a raw egg - I just can't bring myself to bite into one. But a Carmel egg would be awesome!
