The Simple Woman's Daybook- June 1, 2010

FOR TODAY
Tuesday, June 1, 2010

Outside my window...
Sunny and wam,
My rose bush has a rose on it
My Hydrangea is getting some color

I am thinking...
about my new prayer book and what a joy it is to me already

I am thankful for...
time to spend with my family yesterday...
especially my Mom...
cherishing the moments

From the learning rooms...
we are on summer break but I hope to work on watching the DVD's for Institute for Excellence in Writing this week.

I am wearing...
green pants, black top, socks
(no shoes, but if I need to walk around I will put my crocs on)

I am creating...
Prayer cards for my prayer book

I am going...
to B.B.'s to do some shopping with dh later this week
To ladies Bible study on Friday

I am reading...
Terrestria Chronicles Book Four – "The Crown of Kuros"

I am hoping...
and praying that dh gets our file server set up easily...
right now he is struggling...
it would be great if he could figure it all out with ease...
and be able to move on to other projects he needs to do.

I am hearing...
car noise on the street and the noise of my fingers on the keyboard...
all else is quiet

Around the house...
lots to still be done on my to-do list
especially finishing cleaning my room

One of my favorite things...
Memorial Day
Bittersweet
the day my dad died 34 years ago
a great day with my hubby, kids, and Mom
(watch for the post later today)

A few plans for the rest of the week:
Start watching the DVD's for the Institute for Excellence in Writing curriculum for next year
Scrapbooking
Work on Inventory of household
Work on cleaning some of my room
Read

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
you get two today I couldn't decide between
 my rose
 and
my hydrangea

Your flowers are beautiful. You seem to be always learning something new. I would like to learn to write but I'm too tired. I hope you have a great week. Doylene
