1. William Shakespeare's birthday is celebrated on April 23rd...when did you last read Shakespeare? Well, it has been a while since I read an actual play I think it was 2004 or earlier that we did Shakespeare in the Backyard with some friends and took parts and read one of his plays. We did study about Shakespeare last year in school, we watched some cartoon versions of a few of his plays, as well as biographies about him. And, just last week we watched Henry V for Movies as Literature.
What's your favorite Shakespeare play? My favorite would be Midsummer Night's Dream.

2. What food(s) would you recommend a foreign visitor try when they visit your home country? Pizza; Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich, waffle fries, and a milk shake; A meal at Shady Maple Smorgasbord | Authentic Pennsylvania Dutch Cooking; A burger and fries at Five Guys Burgers and Fries; a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, Boxcar Children Stew at my house, and
3. What's a lie you often tell yourself? Wow! You are being tough this week! hmmm... That God cares about other people, but not me. Deep down I know it is not true, but Satan knows my weaknesses and where to hit me when I am down.
4. What's something you're good at that might surprise us? Remember this is a family friendly blog! Speaking in front of groups, especially about homeschooling, I love doing that and haven't done it in a long while.
5. Who is your favorite animal character from a book? Easy one.. finally... Winnie the Pooh!
6. April showers bring May flowers...do you have a green thumb? Nope... black... though I have been doing well with a plant my daughter got for me, it is still alive!! - Blast From The Past ~ Flowers from Rachel
7. Speaking of rainy days...which one of the following activities would you most want to spend time doing on a rainy day- my choices are highlighted... I couldn't choose just one.
sort photos and create albums
bake cookies
read a good book
hold an all-day movie marathon
read a good book
hold an all-day movie marathon
organize closets, cupboards, or bookshelves
try a new recipe
fix something that needs fixing
My kids are usually dong the cookie baking and I just eat them, while I am doing one of the above highlighted things.
8. Insert your own random thought here. God is Good. God is Sovereign. God cares about ME (and you). God knows what I am going through. God can handle me telling him how I am really doing while going through these trials we are in at the moment. God wants me to run to him in my struggles, not away from him. God is strong when I am weak.

Pennsylvania Dutch cooking and especially the family style way it is served would be a good choice.
I love the Matthew West song!
Hope your week gets better. God is so Good-sometimes when I feel like you do I yell for Satan to get out of my life-I mean I YELL!
