Today I am thankful that we live in a country where we have the freedom to vote, and to vote for the candidates we think will best represent us and our values. I am thankful to have a husband and children who take this seriously also and voted today. I did my part. Now to continue to pray for your country and our leaders those still in power and the new ones coming in because of the new election.

I agree, this is something to be very grateful for.
Due to some glitches, I'll just be a prayer warrior this time around. I am grateful that we have the freedom to vote as we see fit, and I'm grateful that parents like you are teaching their kiddos the value of voting.
Have a wonderful day!
I am thankful for the freedom to be able to vote as well. We encourage our kids that are old enough and take the younger ones right along with us. I remember when our 2nd son first turned 18 and we told him we were taking him to vote with us. His girlfriend chewed us out for "forcing" him to go vote. I told her that it was my duty as his mother and as an American citizen to help him get registered and teach him how important that role is in this country. I wonder if she does now????? He's 30 now LOL
