Healthy Home ~ Fit Mommy

Well, it has been a few weeks since I linked up. I was happy Tuesday when I weighed in on my Wii for the first time in 22 days. I was happy because I gained 0 pounds! I lost 0 pounds too, but that is ok. I thought I would see weight gain when I weighed in on Tuesday. All the cleaning we did and the walking around the stores with my mom over the weekend helped to even out the eating I did.

I figured if I hadn't gained in the past 22 days that I probably would over the next week. We still have company from Texas and yesterday we took them to Shady Maple Smorgasbord. I knew I would gain when I weighed in today. I did gain... I gained 1.8 lbs this week...but... I figured exercising on the Wii Tues, Wed, and today... later... would be better than not exercising and still eating a lot. Tuesday I worked out for 35 minutes and Wed. for 30 minutes. Yesterday we walked a lot in 3 different stores near the smorgasbord. We have lots of treats still to eat and I will not be sticking to my diet for the next week, but I will be exercising, drinking my water and eating some fruit and veggies with my snacks.

Goals
  1. Exercise at least 3 days this coming week and hopefully more than that. Make one of them 45 minutes.
  2. Drink my water along with the special treat of soda... that I don't usually drink.
  3. Try not to put on too much weight from all the goodies.

That's really great to go that long without any gain. I love exercising with my Wii. I have almost lost 10 pounds. I have a blog where I keep track of it all. I'd love to encourage you in this effort. It is going to be a long haul for me as I have over 100# to loose, but I am taking it one step at a time.

Debbie,

I'm with you on the staying static in weight loss (or even a little gain.) I've felt 'inflammed' for lack of a better word and not inspired to get the exercise I need. And, the scale reflects that...inching up a could pounds from where I was at Easter.

Thanks for sharing as some of us need inspiration wherever we can get it.

Enjoy the goodies. I'm sure when you get back to your usual diet all the extra weight should fall right off again.

That's great! Maintaining weight during special times is a big accomplishment, and managing to exercise as well is great!

Blessings,

Annie Kate
