Simple Woman's Daybook - March 9, 2010

FOR TODAY...
Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

Outside my window...
my daffodils are starting to come up
my husband and boys cut down the tree that fell over in the snow
and cleaned up all the mess

I am thinking...
that I hope I have time today to write a post about homeschool organizing
for the Blog Cruise
it is late but I want to do it anyway

I am thankful for...
 Seasons!
Spring is Coming

From the learning rooms...
History - Albrecht Durer, Verrazano, Machiavelli, Pope Leo
Historical Fiction - Under Drake's Flag by Henty ch 11-15
Science - Gas Laws and State Change
Bible - First Temple
Art - new TOS product Artistic Pursuits
Composers - Dvorak and  Faure
then the other subjects they do separately like Math and Language Arts

I am wearing...
jeans, short sleeved white shirt with red and blue flowers, red long sleeved fleece

I am creating...
 blog posts
and still need to make time for some scrapbooking

I am going...
 NOwhere

I am reading...
The Ultimate Guide to Homeschooling by Debra Bell for homeschooling
Passionate Housewives Desperate for God for personal devotions
Have a New Kid by Friday by  Kevin Leman
The Sword of the Wormling by Jerry B. Jenkins for fun
(The Wormling Adventures book 2)

I am hoping...
my boys will finish school before 9 pm today

I am hearing...
lots and lots and lots of talking and arguing

Around the house...
I need to do a post on organizing
so I need to do a little cleaning up so I can take some pictures

One of my favorite things...
 watching old shows on YouTube
I was watching some clips of the Cosby Show

A few plans for the rest of the week:
Blogging, Pictures for the 365 Project, some drawing for Art with the boys and Jessica (I am not good at art but I am looking forward to doing it with the kids), and hopefully scrapbooking time.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
Flowers are starting to break through at Winterthur

to do your own daybook and read LOTS of others
