It is way to early to be planting anything in a garden in the northeast.
However...
cabbage is coming up anyway.
We grew some last year and my daughter just left the roots.
We had three plants and it looks like just one of them is coming up, all by itself.
There is also some oregano growing but I did not take a picture of that.
This is parsley
it is growing in the busted up planter that was broken
when our car got smashed.
See it under the car here.
Well it sat out all winter, the sides and rim are broken
but the parsley is growing!
