Goal Planning Monday ~ Craft Week

"The person who really wants to do something finds a way: the other person finds an excuse." - author unknown (found in Confessions of a Prayer Slacker by Diane Moody, intro to ch. 3)

I am sorry to say I find to many excuses. This week I hope to find a way... a way to get the things done I need to get done.

I have some crafts to get done this week. Scrapbooking and I want to Doodle.

I also have some things from last week that I didn't get done and want to.

Mostly, I want to exercise. I must find a way to make time for God in my life, daily; exercise, starting a few times a week; homeschool and prepare for homeschooling; and have some me time... Oh, and blog! Balance! Managing my time. Not wasting to much time on  things that are worthless. This I strive for.

Participants... It is not a requirement to comment on each others blogs but it would be nice to encourage each other. Please try and come back and check who else links up and go comment on their blog post. And comment on mine as well, we ALL could use some building up and community.

My top priorities are marked with a *

My goals for this coming week:
Spiritual Goals
  1. *Morning Devotions - including Bible reading(Proverbs), prayer, listening to music and reading a spiritual book. I am starting Confessions of a Prayer Slacker for my next book. Prayer will be a focus this year as that is my word for 2013.  Done - I am loving Confessions of a Prayer Slacker.
  2. Participate in the Joy Dare in 2013. Writing down 3 things each day that are gifts from God, things to be thankful for totaling more than 1000 gifts in 2013. Done. I now have 4 notebooks with gifts in them. A composition book with the Joy Dare gifts from the prompts Ann Voscamp gives us. A composition book for counting my own gifts as God impresses things on my heart. A small spiral bound notebook in my purse for gifts while on the go. Lastly, a small spiral bound notebook for gifts about my hubby, something I need, to help me look for the good things in our marriage.

Great accountability tool, Debbie! Your organization and progress are motivating to me this Monday. I'm going to hang on to that quote this week...I so need to just buckle down and make some serious progress in many areas this week!
