Goal Planning Monday ~ Week 90

Time to write some goals and strive to accomplish them this coming week??

Join us by clicking on the button above...
after you read my goals.

Goal Planning Monday has a new home - the banner above will take you to the new home for Goal Planning Monday @ Real Life Unscripted even though it says it is @ mamamanuscripts. I changed the link to send you to the new place.

Pretty good week, but not as good as it could be. I am spending to much of my day playing games on the computer. I want to get more accomplished with my week. That means getting more accomplished each day and not waiting until the end of the week to try and get it all done. Hopefully this will be a great week.

My Goals from last week and how I did:
Spiritual Goals
  1. Devotions daily -  Reading II Timothy. Partly Done - I finished II Timothy chapter 3 today, but I did skip a few days this past week.
  2. Read The Resolution for Women and apply it to my life. The applying takes more time than the reading. Partly Done
  3. Listen to Godly Music Daily. Partly Done
  4. Pray daily. Partly Done
  5. Read some of My Utmost for His Highest before bed at night. Done
Homeschool Goals
  1. Complete all of school. That means getting Christopher to do all 12 workboxes every day. The only way to do that is to make sure he brings his computer to my bedroom each evening so he has to do all his work and have me check it before he gets his laptop back. Partly Done - I worked over the weekend to get things better for this. It is not all his fault. I have been lax in planning and having his school work ready. I have his work planned out better for this coming week so there are no excuses for him or for me.
  2. Log Christopher's work into the log DAILY. Partly Done - I got it logged in by the end of the weekend but I want to keep up with it daily.
Blog Goals
  1. Comment on the ladies blogs that link up to Goal Planning Monday. Done- I commented at our hostess's blog @ Real Life Unscripted also at Kym @ Homeschool Coffee Break at  Meg @ Adventures with Jude and Cristi @ Through the Calm and Through the Storm.
  2. Post reminders to my friends/blog readers about Think Back Thursday on Wed., on Facebook groups especially. Remind them of this week's theme and future themes as well so they can work ahead. Done
  3. Post Think Back Thursday. Done
  4. Comment on each person's post that links up for Think Back Thursday. Done
  5. Post letter E and F for Blogging Through the Alphabet and comment on some blogs that link up. Not Done
  6. Write a post that is NOT linked to a meme. Not Done
Personal/Other Goals
  1. Turn off the computer between 9 and 9:30. Get back to getting to bed earlier. Partly Done, some nights good, some late!
  2. Read. More. I didn't get much reading done in Sept. I want to do better. Done
  3. Exercise at least 1 or 2 times. My lower back has been hurting me as well as my knees. I need to exercise. I need to loose weight but that is hard with our financial situation. Exercise, however is something I can and should still do. Hubby bought me some batteries just for me to use on the Wii. Done
  4. Work on Christmas gifts and ornaments (I make an ornament for each person in my immediate family each year for Christmas) and this year because we don't have any money to spend on Christmas I am making each person a gift, probably cross stitch or plastic canvas since I have the supplies I need to do those. Not Done - I need to get working on these.
  5. Work on a brand new writing project. An idea for a picture book for children. Will be an e-book, at least to start. I will write it, hubby, hopefully, will illustrate it. Not Done
  6. Log books in to book collector. I need to get the tubs out of our bedroom so hubby and I have more space. Done
  7. Do better with housework, especially the kitchen and dining room. We have gotten lazy. Gotta really get a handle on it today because... Done - we are doing better with this and are more adjusted to the girls not being here to help out.
  8. Show hospitality and love to Court's Aunt June who will visit tomorrow. An enjoyable, not hard, job. She is a sweetie. We have been to her home in western PA a couple times since we were married and she came to visit my husband's family in the Salisbury, MD area a few times while we lived there or while we were visiting down there. But, this is her first time in our home. Done - Court's brother brought Aunt June, dropped her off, went and did some work, then came back for her. They stayed longer than they had planned, which was good. We thought she was going to spend a couple days with us. It ended up she could only come for a few hours, so it was great that they stayed til 6 pm when they originally said they would be leaving at 3. It was great to visit with Aunt June and it was a great excuse to get my house cleaned up!
For this week that is 10 Done, 7 Partly Done, and 4 Not Done

My goals for this coming week:
Spiritual Goals

Homeschool Goals

  2. Log Christopher's work into the log DAILY.
Blog Goals
  1. Comment on the ladies blogs that link up to Goal Planning Monday.

  6. Write a post that is NOT linked to a meme.
Personal/Other Goals
  1. Turn off the computer between 9 and 9:30. Get back to getting to bed earlier.
  2. Read. More. I didn't get much reading done in Sept. I want to do better.

  4. Work on Christmas gifts and ornaments (I make an ornament for each person in my immediate family each year for Christmas) and this year because we don't have any money to spend on Christmas I am making each person a gift. This week I would like to finish at least 2 ornaments.
  5. Work on a brand new writing project - a picture book for children.
  6. Log books in to book collector. I want to finish at least one tub of books this week. I need a more specific goal so I get this done and out of my bedroom.
  7. Start working on saving files from my New folder to my backups and external drive. I have saved a lot of new things lately and I want to make sure they are protected and saved. I plan to save the new file to my external drive and then after I get them saved into the correct files I can delete the new file from the external drive.
  8. Keep doing better with housework, especially the dishes and pots.
That's my goals for this week!! Do you have any goals? You should. You will get a lot more done if you think about what you want to accomplish with your week. Post your goals and link up. The button at the top will take you to the meme and you can join up with us.
