Goal Planning Monday ~ Homeschool Plans

I frequently-regularly-often trip while reaching for my high ideals.  Then I giggle, or cry, and get back up.  ~Erika Harris

More often than not I cry. Not this week though. This week I played with my kids on the Wii and watched a LOT of movies. I also laughed with my family and my girlfriend who said she "needed to get in her Debbie time" before she starts back to work and doesn't have as much free time. She is starting a new job at a school as a counselor next month.

Last Monday I woke with a swollen foot. Talk about a change of plans. I went to the Dr. and they sent me to get x-rays. The x-rays showed NOTHING. They told me to rest, keep my feet up, and stay off it as much as possible.

As the title suggests my #1 goals this week are homeschool goals. We are supposed to start in 2 weeks. I may not be ready by then... it may be 3 weeks. I have a LOT to do.

Participants... It is not a requirement to comment on each others blogs but it would be nice to encourage each other. Please try and come back and check who else links up and go comment on their blog post. And comment on mine as well, we ALL could use some building up and community.

My top priorities are marked with a *

My desktop computer, where everything needs to be saved from, does not have a working monitor. Hubby finally ordered the parts he needs to fix it this morning. Hopefully I will be able to work on this soon.
  3. Celebrate my son's 19th birthday on Friday. Done- and enjoyed doing it.
Looking at the list of undone things I guess I did not have as productive a week as I thought. I will need to be more careful this coming week and play less Farmville.

For this week that is 12 Done, 0 Partly Done, and 12 Not Done.

  5. *Buy the curriculum I want. I am going to buy The Wise Woman with Literary Analysis Journal Questions. It is a suggested resource for the Philosophy Adventures program we are doing this year. I am getting the download so it doesn't cost much. I also may buy Chemistry 101. I asked about doing a review of the dvd set. I am waiting to hear. I have plenty of other Chemistry materials to get us started so I don't have to have the dvd's before we start school.
Fitness Goals
  1. Exercise 1-2 days 15 min each time. I hope to be feeling well enough to start back by the end of the week. I don't know when I should start exercising again or even what to do once my hubby allows me to do more.
  2. *Get my Weight Watchers dessert made... MUST DO!
  3. Eat fruit and veggies and drink water.

So, if you set some goals and tripped, laugh at yourself, or cry, and get back up. Set some new goals or the same ones and try again. Don't quit and you WILL achieve your goals.
