I am very, very excited and surprised that I lost weight this week. With the week I had I am shocked. Last week on Thursday evening my husband was taken to the emergency room in an ambulance. It was a harrowing experience for the whole family. I cannot tell you details, it is too private, but I can tell you there was a lot of blood. Surprisingly, we were home at 4:30 am and he seemed fine. We have an appointment with a specialist next Wed. and who knows what he will say. For now... everything seems fine.
This weeks's topic is Recipes. One of my favorite recipes is WW Fat Free Chocolate Cake. Gotta have chocolate... even on a diet. My Weight Loss and Fitness Goals From Last Week and How I Did:
- Exercise at least 3 days and hopefully 4 or more, on the Wii. I am only working out about 30 min. a day. When I was really loosing I was working our one day for an hour and at least one day 45 min. and then 2 or 3 days 30 min. I really want to get back to that. I exercised 3 days. One day was for 45 minutes. I am working my way back to what I was doing in the spring.
- Drink my water... at least 48 oz... but strive for 64. I did this most days.
- Keep track of what I eat and don't eat junk food... stick to Weight Watchers diet as much as possible. I still have not found my WW calculator and notebook I was tracking stuff in.
- Eat more veggies and fruit which will be easy this week since we bought such good stuff at Shady Maple yesterday. I did pretty good. Until hubby came home with a few bags of candy from the after Halloween sales.
- Don't snack after 8pm. Most nights.
- Get to bed earlier... goal is computer/tv off at 9:30, read for 1/2 an hour then bed at 10pm, but any improvement on the after 11pm late nights I have been doing will be good. Sleep this week has been on and off. One night at the E.R., one night sleep like a rock, next night could not sleep because of the stress and not feeling well, next few nights slept fine. Last night Hubby started turning off the Internet at 9:30. I could still do stuff and stay up but last night I read for a little while and then went to bed. I did not get to sleep right away but I am working one it. I have to finish this up before my curfew or it won't get posted til tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about your husband! I pray you are able to get an answer about what is wrong. But it sounds like you did great this week...even with all of the stress. I love your goals. They seem attainable. I hope you have a much better week! Thanks for joining WLWed!
