after you read my goals.
This was a pretty good week. I did well in everything except exercise and healthy eating. I started my goal update but my sleepless night Sunday night and my computer not linking to the Internet kept me from posting.
My Goals from last week and how I did:
Spiritual Goals
- Catch up in my Reading the Bible in a Year. Done
- Read Power of a Praying Wife and leave hubby a note for each chapter I read. He needs the extra prayers and encouragement. Done
- Read Chapter 5 of God's Priorities for Today's Woman for Ladies Bible Study on Friday. I don't want to wait 'til the last minute for this in case I have to lead the Bible Study. Partly Done and I don't have to lead the Bible study.
- Keep homeschooling and make sure the boys do all 12 workboxes every day or no computer time. Done
- Read aloud to the boys... this counts toward my 100 books in a year goal. Done
- Compile the hours that the boys have done for each subject of school so far this year so they know how much they have accomplished and how much more they need to do.... especially important for Nathan because he is graduating this year. Priority 1 this week. Done Yipee! and I talked with the boys about the expectations and what they have to get done. Especially Nathan in order to have his hours done by the end of the year.
Not Done
Blog Goals
- I have my Blast From The Past ready for tomorrow and I like knowing that I worked on it more than a week ago and it is all ready to post tomorrow. I want to work on all the Blast From The Past posts for Nov. and have them all ready to go way ahead so it is a pleasure to do them and not so much of a chore. Partly Done I have a couple posts I worked on and some more to do. I want to get the posts done for December also.
- Work on, and get posted, a post that is not a meme. Not Done.
- Post daily for the 30 Days of Thanksgiving / Gratitude Challenge. Partly Done - I did not post daily because of computer problems but I was able to catch up this afternoon.
- Comment on all the other GPM ladies posts. Keep track of their names with links here so I know whose I have done. Done. I commented on our hostesses post - Mama Manuscripts, Cristi@ Through the Calm and Through the Storm, Sarah @ Growing for Christ
- Read, Read, Read! I am making progress on my read 100 books in a year goal but I still need to read a bunch more. I am currently reading Love Takes Wing (Love Comes Softly Series #7). I don't think I will make 100 books but I will not quit. I will read as much as I can. I have a few books I want to order from the library too. Done I finished this and the last book in the series Love Finds a Home. I am now reading Home for the Holidays: Tales from Grace Chapel Inn series
- One on One time with Rachel. Not Done.
My goals for this coming week:
Spiritual Goals

- Read Chapter 5 of God's Priorities for Today's Woman for Ladies Bible Study on Friday. I don't want to wait 'til the last minute for this in case I have to lead the Bible Study.
- Read as much as possible of the new books I got for our Sunday School study. How People Change and How People Change Study Guide: How Christ Changes Us by His Grace We are starting lesson 6 and I just got my book last week. If I read 2 chapters I will count that as done. I will catch up eventually. My problem is do I read the chapter we should be doing this coming Sunday, ch. 6, and then chapter 1; or do I just read chapter 1 and 2. I think I like the first option better. There is also homework in the study guide.

- Clean the house because of #5 and 6.
- Ladies Bible Study on Friday.
- My friend Michele is coming over after Ladies Bible Study.
