TOS Homeschool Crew Review - Homeschool Library Builder

Homeschool Library Builder stocks new and used, hardcover and softcover titles. Most of the new titles are publisher’s remainders and overstocks. Their used books are rated by condition (good, good/very good, like new, etc.) and priced accordingly and they are always on the lookout for hard-to-find or out-of-print titles. They stock fiction, historical fiction and some non-fiction books for literature-based homeschooling. They offer quality new and used living books at bargain prices -- selections recommended by some of the favorite curricula on the market. One of the cool things I like is that they will search for an out of print book for you. That is sooooo cool. Happy Smileys You can read more about this company, the owners and what they do on their About Us page.

The prices on this site are comparable to or better than other homeschool sites I frequent. I plan to look for some books I need for next year's school on Homeschool Library Builder, especially the Historical Fiction and History books on my list. You should see some of the prices on the clearance page, and the "regular" prices are great too. There is also a newsletter that lets you know about specials and sales on their already low prices. You may not find everything on your want list at Homeschool Library Builder but what they do have is priced great and some of the hard to find books cannot be located anywhere else. One downside is you have to check this site often and buy when you see it because there is no guarantee that the book will be there next week, but that is true with any used book site. Clicking on the details for a book shows how many are in stock, then you can make an informed decision. The prices are so low it makes it worth your while. Shipping prices seem comparable to other sites.

***Homeschool Library Builder provided me with membership to the site and free newsletters (which are free to everyone) so that I could do my review. Though I received this product for free I have given an honest review of it here in this post.

I have also become a member of HSLB and if you use me as a referral I may receive compensation in the form of points toward free books.

  1. Looks like a great site. I became a member and put your name down :) I won't be at church tomorrow because i need to take Matt to work and also i need the time to finish my homework, but, i did tell Rachel that her and I will be going regularly again starting next week, he-he, she doesn't have a choice because she is home-schooled and that was one of my conditions. Anyway, I will see you soon. Have a good day and stay dry.
