The Simple Woman's Daybook - March 2, 2010

The Dayboook has moved to Tuesdays!

FOR TODAY...
March 2, 2010

Outside my window...
Gloomy and Gray... again...

I am thinking...
I am tired of gloomy and gray
and we have more snow on the way
it is not supposed to be much
but still

I am thankful for...
safety and  protection as I took the bus into the city yesterday
for Jury Duty
and that I did not get picked for a trial
and my jury duty is done for 2 years.

From the learning rooms...
Solomon for Bible
Erasmus and Northern Italy Renaissance Artists for History
Under Drake's Flag by Henty for Historical Fiction
Solids, Liquids and Gasses for Chemistry in Science
Brahms then Tchaichovsky for Composer Study
Graphics Toolbox
Guitar practice
New Art Program from TOS Review Crew
and the normal Math, Grammar, Wordsmith, and extra subjects for Nathan

I am wearing...
tan slacks, white turtleneck, blue sweat shirt,
socks, sneakers

I am creating...
blog posts
many pictures to take and post on the blog for the 365 project
maybe a scrapbook page or two this week, I hope

I am going...
to the Library Thurs night
to Ladies Bible Study on Friday

I am reading...
A Praying Life by Miller for Ladies Bible Study
The Ultimate Guide to Homeschooling by Debra Bell for homeschooling
The Book of the King by Jerry B. Jenkins for fun
Passionate Housewives Desperate for God for personal devotions

I am hoping...
that SPRING will come SOON!

I am hearing...

Around the house...
much chatter from my children

One of my favorite things...
Chocolate and Caramel
especially together!

A few plans for the rest of the week:
Homeschooling
Photographing tons of stuff for 365 photo project
Ladies Bible Study (I think it is this week)
Lots of Blogging to catch up on.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...
